Job Responsibilities

1. Industry Research & Sourcing — Track global biotech, biologics, AI-driven drug discovery and platform technologies. Monitor pipelines, M&A and primary market dynamics. Screen targets, conduct preliminary analysis, and deliver industry reports, transaction benchmarks and asset memos to inform corporate strategy and investment decisions.

2. Strategic Investment and Partnership Execution Support: Support corporate equity-related initiatives including financing, strategic investment and M&A projects, and external partnerships such as licensing, co-development and technology partnership, etc. Involved in key deal stages from mapping, preliminary assessment to IC reporting.

3. Project Management: Support the deal team across preliminary due diligence, data compilation, competitive landscape analysis, cross-functional coordination for strategic investment and partnership projects. Maintain and manage opportunity database and keep regular tracking of on-going projects, participate in key decision-making meetings, and prepare deal-related memos.

Job Requirements

1. Education Background: Master’s degree or above in Biology, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Medicine or related disciplines. PhD is a plus.

2. Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience in healthcare corporate development, strategic/equity investment, investment banking or strategy consulting.

3. Industry Knowledge & Analytical Skills: Solid grasp of biopharma R&D workflows and industrial value chain; prior exposure and track records in BD, investment and M&A transactions is preferred. Candidates shall be able to read, interpret and analyze scientific literature, with bilingual written and verbal communication skills to deliver analytical reports.

4. Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, accountable, execution-focused and resilient under pressure. Fast learner with good business acumen and professional etiquette, willing to grow long-term within the biotech industry.

5. Language Proficiency: Fluent in English reading and writing.
